Stages of soil examination in terms of the quality of the earth’s surface:
- Stage I – Determining the type of activity that may cause pollution,
- Stage II – Establishing a list of risk substances (pollutants) expected to occur in the soil or in the ground,
- Stage III – Analysis of available and up-to-date sources of information relevant to the assessment,
- Stage IV – Development of a sampling strategy and conducting preliminary tests,
- Stage V – Carrying out detailed research.
